When it comes to hindu weddings we know there is a lot going on behind the organization, there is a lot to think about, every detail counts!
They are vibrant, colorful and full of joy!
As artist we love hindu weddings because we play with colorful palettes, and we work a lot in detail, which is one of our strengths. We get creative and have fun. For us,each makeup and hair is a piece of art.
We were recently part of a hindu wedding
At Barceló where we got to beautify our lovely bride, Vruta.
Vruta chose a classic and glamorous gold and red tones for her makeup look.
Do you want to know how we accomplished this beautiful bridal look?
On her Skin we applied
Makeup forever face & body foundation to achieve a smooth and natural finish, her cheeks were colored with a peach tone to add warmth into her skin using
Peaches blush by Mac cosmetics, to define the bone structure,we added a little contour with Cocoa palette contour by too faced and to add luminosity we applied High light by wet & wild onto the high point of her face. All of the above very well blended to get a natural and soft finish in her skin.
For the bride’s eyes,( here is our favorite part) we did Smokey eyes with gold and warm browns and terracota, we used the fiery palette called Heat by Urban decay. We defined her eyes with a very graphic liner using Tattoo liner by Kay von D, for extra volume and to finish the look, we used a set of full lashes by house of lashes.
Her lips were matte red using a liquid lipstick by Styla , to balance the brightness of the golden eyes and make it more elegant.
We officially have a crush on this look!

How to have the best Getting Ready Bridal party!
If you are the king of Bride that loves getting ready with the girls and get the party started with mimosas, this is a blog you MUST read! I have been part of many bridal parties so I have my own list of the dos and don’ts for a bridal party to go easy and smooth and to enjoy that moment; here is a list of Do’s
- – Take Time into consideration:
Time is GOLD here, since you have a certain time to be ready for pictures, or the ceremony or any other fun thing you are doing before the wedding. We suggest that the guests are ready in a room. (And with ready I mean, dry hair and washed face) So they can be on time with their beauty treatments (hair, makeup, manicure & pedicure etc..) if everyone is in the room, the beauty artist will work according to the Schedule and everyone will be ready on time.
Tip: book the photographer 1 hour before they start doing the Bridal hair and makeup so he has time to shoot the getting ready Pictures.
About the Schedule for beauty, don’t worry about it; Vo-Evolution will be in charge to give you the Schedule according to your needs.
- – FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Try to have a food platter of sweet and salty Hors d’ oeuvres, a mimosa bar and plenty of water, to get the party started. Remember that you girls have to eat, because alter the getting ready everything goes pretty Fast, leaving you with long hours of not eating so you need all your energy for those hours, and I am not going to lie a little booze will also calm the nerves.
- – MUSIC MAKES THE PEOPLE COME TOGETHER
Have a playlist for this specific happening, make a list f songs that you and your friends have memories with or are familiar to you, so you ca sing a long and remember good times, music is always a good way to set the mood!
I forgot to mention that if you have a good set of speakers you should bring them with you, some Hotels don’t provide good quality speakers and good sound is always better 😉
- – MAID OF HONOR
The maid of honor takes an important role here, she will be in charge to deal with things you don’t and can’t worry about that day, the main task of the maid of honor will be to solve little details, and to make sure you THE BRIDE are relaxed and enjoying every single moment. Make sure you have a special thank you gift for her; she will make your life way easier at this point. Things a maid of honor is in charge of payments, making sure everyone is on time, music, etc…
Those 4 Do’s are essential to make a great bridal party and I am sure it will set the mood for the best day of your life!
